Fork may have scratches, nicks, slight rust, fading, & decal loss, Elastomer are toast, liquefied, bad etc… Manitou was an Elastomer based suspension fork and time is not so kind to the elastomers, they usually need to be replaced, new elastomers are available ( Do your Interwebs Homework).
