The half link adjustment can be needed on BMX and Fixie Street Track Bikes. The Connector Link can be added to a Regular Chain or a 1/2 Link chain to add length for adjustment. Your Connector Choices are: 1/2″ x 1/8″ for regular single speed chains or 1/2″ x 3/32″ for skinny single speed chains on Fixie Track Bikes. Although 3/32″ chains are multi speed I would only use it for single speed applications. The Half link Master Link has a pin and cotter pin, Kind of Archaic but it works.
