Vintage 80s 1-inch Threaded Rigid MTB Fork 26 + Matching Quill Stem & Sweep Bars Here is a used 80s-era mountain bike fork, quill stem, high-sweep steel handlebar. Removed from a Novara Aspen that had an unrepairable dropout lug. Fork fits 26” wheels and cantilever brakes. Steerer tube is 197mm long including 35mm of threading. Axle to crown measurement is 385mm. Fork has mid-blade rack fittings for multiple front rack attachment options. This is an older fork that was made before fork dropouts had safety tabs, so it is critical for safe use of the fork that the wheel skewer be tensioned properly. Stem was made by WIN in Japan and is 80mm with a 20 degree rise, 22.2mm quill and 25.4mm clamp diameter. Handlebars are steel with alloy shim and no brand markings–610mm (24-inch) width and comfortable backsweep/upsweep. The yellow paint on the fork, stem and bars is original and maintains much of its origional shine, with typical scratches and paint chips shown in photos. Also includes the original Tien Hsin headset and integrated cable hanger–bearings were regreased within the past few years and it is in complete, working condition. SHIPPING: USA shipping $25.
