R-559 Tektro Brake Bolt for converting Tektro brakes (e.g. Tektro R-540, R-539 and R-559) from the modern standard with short bolts to the old standard, where long bolts were used and secured with nuts instead of sleeve nuts that go inside the fork crown. To convert the brakes, only one long bolt is required, which replaces the short rear brake bolt. The brake with the long bolt is then mounted as front brake and the brake with the short bolt is used as rear brake. Please note: the installation of the long brake bolt requires some mechanical skills and should therefore only be done by experienced mechanics or specialist workshop!
