This is an extended aluminum crown race (baseplate) with the common 36° or 45° angles for 1.5″ lower cartridge type sealed headset bearings. Intended to provide clearance for suspension fork installation on Fat Bike frames. We manufacture them to order between 5mm to 25mm thicknesses. Please specify the thickness and bearing interface angle you require when ordering. We have these available for 1 1/8″ frame/fork applications as well as a reducer version for use with 1 1/8″ forks and 1.5″ headtubes. MTB Tools Mtn Bike 20mm Thru Axle to Standard 5mm Quick Release Wheel Adapter

This aluminum adapter allows a 20mm x 100mm thru axle hub to be installed on a standard 9mm dropout x 100mm wide quick release fork. Simple no tools installation, the adapter slips in the hub just like the 20mm thru axle would. The wheel is then mounted and secured with your standard 5mm shaft quick release. Please be aware that most 20mm thru axle hubs are 110mm wide. Some modification may be necessary depending on your components. I offer an adapters for many other applications in my store. MTB Tools Fat Bike E-Bike 12mm Thru Axle to 10mm Threaded Axle Wheel Adapter

These adapters allow a standard12mm thru axle hub to be installed on any dropout type frame. A typical application would be an E-Bike conversion or upgrade to a lower end Fat Bike. Made from 4140 chromoly. The thread is m10 – 1.0. The listed size is the length of the 12mm section. For example a 170mm part will be 170mm at 12mm with 20mm of 10mm shoulder each end for a total of 210mm. We stock the sizes shown but we will be happy to make any variation, including 15mm thru axle or 3/8″ – 26 thread, you may need.
