Any Smaller applications will require you to remove links with a chain tool to fit your bike, this is common with all chains and a tiny amount of Bicycle mechanic skills is required to perform this task. This Single speed chain fits single speed bikes with 1/8″ chain rings, track cogs, free wheels, and coaster brakes. This chain will also fit interplanetary multi gear hubs like Sturmey Archer and Shimano Nexus 3 , 5, and 7, speed hubs, also fits Bendix 2 speed kick backs. Chain DOES NOT work with Derailleur and multiple cog freewheels, cassettes, and chainrings. The Chain is a Quality import YBN Bicycle Chain. Choose your Size or Style from the Menu. The Half link is a single speed specialty chain link, the link has a inter connecting side and an outer connecting side. The Half Link gives you adjustment in 1/2″ increments, unlike a regular chain that require 2 links ( inside and out side link ) and only has 1″ increment adjustments. The half link adjustment can be needed on BMX and Fixie Street Track Bikes. The Connector Link can be added to a Regular Chain or a 1/2 Link chain to add length for adjustment. Your Connector Choices are: 1/2″ x 1/8″ for regular single speed chains or 1/2″ x 3/32″ for skinny single speed chains on Fixie Track Bikes. Although 3/32″ chains are multi speed I would only use it for single speed applications. The Half link Master Link has a pin and cotter pin, Kind of Archaic but it works.
