This is an extended aluminum crown race (baseplate) with the common 36° or 45° angles for 1.5″ lower cartridge type sealed headset bearings. Intended to provide clearance for suspension fork installation on Fat Bike frames. We manufacture them to order between 5mm to 25mm thicknesses. Please specify the thickness and bearing interface angle you require when ordering. We have these available for 1 1/8″ frame/fork applications as well as a reducer version for use with 1 1/8″ forks and 1.5″ headtubes. As this item is made to order a 48 hr maximum delay in shipment may be necessary. We offer many other adapters, parts and tools in our eBay store. Velo Orange Gran Cru Headset 1” Threaded Headset is in coveralls good condition. Bearings are smooth. The crown race is the split type which makes installation/removal easy but this has a small crack in it. Common size for easy replacement. Also the top nuts threads are in good shape but the small rubber o-ring is a bit deformed. See photos
